Information you choose to provide
If you contact Bastion Backups by email or telephone, we receive the information you choose to provide. We use it to respond to your enquiry, provide support or discuss relevant services.
Website operation
The website itself does not include a contact form, user account, advertising tracker or analytics service. Our hosting provider may retain standard technical logs, such as an IP address, requested page, date, time and browser information, for security and operational purposes.
If you select a light or dark colour theme, that preference is stored locally in your browser. It remains on your device and is not used for analytics, advertising or user profiling.
Remote support downloads
The Remote Support page provides approved installer files. Download requests may appear in normal hosting logs. Remote access is only initiated when a user runs an installer and participates in a support session.
Sharing and retention
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was supplied, legal obligations and legitimate business records. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or raise a privacy concern by emailing info@bastionbackups.co.za.
